Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers both the Filmari iOS application ("the App") and the Filmari website at filmari.eu ("the Website"), developed by Jakub Mičuch ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy — the short version is: we don't collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

iOS App

1. Data Collection

Filmari does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. The App operates entirely offline on your device. No analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs are included.

2. Data Stored on Your Device

All data you create within the App — including projects, shot lists, inventory lists, client details, codec and sensor presets, billing information, and other content — is stored locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it yourself.

3. iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, the App uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your data across your own Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We have no access to your iCloud data at any time.

4. Exported Files

The App allows you to export your data as .flmr backup files, PDF documents, or CSV files, and to share them using iOS standard sharing features (Mail, AirDrop, Files, etc.). These exports may contain personal or sensitive information you have entered into the App. You are solely responsible for how you handle, share, or store exported files.

5. Calendar Integration

The App can add shooting day events to your device's calendar using iOS's native calendar prompt. This is a write-only, one-time action initiated by you. The App does not read, modify, or have ongoing access to your calendar.

6. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (unlocking multiple projects and inventory lists) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or process any payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

8. Analytics

The Website uses Umami Analytics to collect basic, anonymous visit statistics — such as page views, country of origin, device type, and traffic source. Umami does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individual users across sessions or websites. No consent banner is required as no personal data is processed.

9. Cookies

The Website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Umami Analytics operates without cookies. The only potential cookies on the Website are those set by Google reCAPTCHA on the Feedback page (see below), which is a security tool, not a tracking mechanism.

10. Feedback Form & reCAPTCHA

The Feedback page uses Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect against spam and automated submissions. reCAPTCHA may set cookies and collect hardware and software information to assess whether a submission is made by a human. This data is sent to Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. reCAPTCHA is only active on the Feedback page and is not loaded on any other part of the Website.

Any message you submit via the feedback form (including your email address if provided) is sent directly to us by email and is not stored in any database.

11. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor the Website's visibility in Google Search. This tool does not place any scripts or cookies on the Website and does not collect data about individual visitors.
